Illustrations for an Animal Encyclopedia

This was a self-initiated project done in collaboration with a friend as an idea to create our own animal encyclopedia.

Every illustration is crafted with precision, with a special emphasis on each animal's specific qualities. The illustrations are shaped to fit the modern-day layout, as well as be applicable for more "artistic" spreads (e.g. those featuring color inversion).

Each illustration is drawn with ink, while some are digitally colorized.
