Wildlife Illustration

Although my visual interests are wide, I’m especially drawn to drawing animals - their personality and spirit. This gallery brings together a range of animal illustration projects, from privately-commissioned ink portraits and editorial visuals to book illustrations and playful digital pieces for playing cards.

Whether you’re seeking a detailed pet portrait, a narrative animal piece for publishing, or expressive artwork for commercial use, this collection shows the ways my style can serve diverse creative briefs.

Ink Illustration: Black and White

This is a collection of ink drawings of different animal species. Some were done as personal projects, while some were privately commissioned.

Process

All illustrations are hand-rendered. I use a mixture of stippling and cross-hatching to create textures true to each species. All illustrations start as pencil sketches.

As a part of a self-initiated project, I have used these illustrations for a modern take on an animal encyclopedia, showcasing their potential for editorial layouts and patterns.

Ink Illustration: Colored Ink

All illustrations are hand-rendered, using ink pens in color. I use a mixture of stippling and cross-hatching to create textures true to each species. All illustrations start as pencil sketches.

Wildlife Illustration: Scenes

Similar to the single-animal ink drawings, this is a collection of separate animals and full scenes featuring animals, but in color - some made as personal projects, some as privately commissioned pieces.
